I'm looking for the same thing. With Win7 installed, ATI video drivers will not install, so the screen is using the windows PnP drivers and it will not show all of the screen's available size.

Sounds like a problem with the monitor. I would get a different brand.

That is strange. Pull the battery out and start the computer, does the computer power up without the battery? if it does, then your battery may be the problem. If the computer does not power up without the battery installed, the power supply may be be the problem. Good luck, Bill

You could try to remove the keyboard and detach the ribbon cable, inspect and clean the ribbon cable contact points, then reassemble. Just re-seating the cable may fix the problem. You might also try disconnecting the keyboard ribbon cable, start the computer, then shut down, and then reattach...
