I have bought a new logitech headset that only has one cable with joined mic/speakers. Which jack should i put it in so that they both woork because i dont have a jack that has both speakers and mic.

Hey all, whenever i try to turn on my laptop, it gets stuck on the starting windows screen and wont turn on. I am thinking it may be due to a faulty hdd but im not sure. also, when trying to boot in safe mode it freezes and gets stuck with "Loaded: \CLASSPNP.SYS" at the bottom. advice please?
