■ it turned out there was a microscopic scratch on the heatsink which caused it but I think what you are talking about is currently happening to the GPU

as I got it to be more stable yesterday I managed to play on it for 3 hours with no problem and now it's bad again I honestly have no Idea what could it be

it's blowing fairly cool air its around the room temprature

the cpu and gpu have 1 heatsink attached to 1 fan which works and I also have a cooler under the laptop

so I have an Asus X54HR laptop and it started overheating like 2 months ago and I have tried everything cleaning it up changing thermal paste with less with more paste with more less pressure on the screws of the heatsink because maybe they are too tight or too loose basically changed the paste...
