Rjd1101, every computer has two options a factory reset and erase all data etc . I opted to the erase all data instead od factory reset cause I was concerned about someone retrieving personal info by hacking the hard drive . Seems I should have taken my chances and done the factory reset instead.

I recently received a new laptop and I erased the data etc off my old one. Now my old one comes up as requesting to add boot disk and hit any key. Don't have a boot disk and will the lack of one prevent me from selling it and a new owner to use it?
