I had the same problem today with my uploaded videos on Youtube. They were not in 1080p & I could only watch them in 720p. I found out it was a Chrome extension that was bugging the channel called (Magic actions for YouTube) & how I fixed it was, I deleted the Magic actions for YouTube...
