I have no issues with the computer whatsoever. The laptop has a display so all the suggestions above will not be necessary. I'm just simply looking for a way to see what is making my hard drive spin when the display is off.

Hi there, When my Acer laptop (7750G) display goes off, the hard drive spins then stops and spins and then stops in around 5 second intervals. It gets really annoying when this happens. Any ideas? I know the hard drive is not defective after testing it. I think it's some process that is running...
