Well I solved it myself. The Toshiba A505-S6981 16" Realtek Wireless Card V000190550 RTL8191SE card works like a champ. Upgrade to 802.11n for under $10. Installed and the drivers update if hooked up to an Internet connection via Ethernet before powering on and you're done.
