Should I upgrade parts or buy a new laptop?

Hello! - For WiFi: Consider purchasing a USB WiFi adapter stick. They can be quite cheap so if it doesn't fix your issue, it will not be that painful to the wallet! - For HDD: Good idea for the SSD. If it doesn't fix your problem, it's not lost as you can eventually re-use it in your next...

    Regarding failing laptop components.

I think either the HDD connection is loose or it's simply dying. My mother's Acer laptop had similar issues and was almost new. Maybe you could buy a new HDD, or better, SSD which aren't expensive nowadays. Switch your disks and re-install Windows on the new one. My 2 cents. Good luck!

    Laptop compromise decision.

As above, your general experience will benefit more with a SSD instead of 16GB of RAM.

Moving a game from a laptop to a new one due to lack of space

Maybe you could initiate the game download from Steam in your new laptop, they stop it and close Steam. Copy your game folder from your old to your new laptop. Restart your steam and repair the game. You will avoid downloading the entire game, I think. Good luck. PS: Upgrade your new laptop...

    No sound. Speakers. AUX. PC.

You could buy one of those USB sound cards. Some of them are quite cheap (10$) and work surprisingly well. We had similar issues with an Alienware X51's sound card and plugs. Now with a USB sound card no static, no pops, no problem. Good luck!

    Microphone buzzing noise

Two options, maybe: 1- Instead of using the jacks on the front of your PC case, use those behind. They have shorter wires and are less prone to interference. Did that on my Asus desktop. 2- Buy a 10$ USB sound card and plug your headset in there. Did that on a problematic Alienware X51 and it...

Why my pretty fast laptop lags alot when playing games?

Even on Asus ROG gaming laptops with great GPUs you sometimes need to make compromises. Either you reduce the amount of details in your games on reduce the screen resolution. No need to go full 1080 HD on your laptop, 1366x768 or 1600x900 could bring back smooth FPS. That's what my GF does and...

How do I connect a soundbar or a home theatre system to my tv

You will have to connect your soundbar elsewhere in your system. It could be an Audio Amp, A/V Receiver or any other device with a sound output.

Optical out TV to analogue home theatre 2

According to the specs I found on the Web, they aren't many input options as it's mainly a 5.1 home theater kit designed to work together. The only solution is as you said, using the L/R RCA Aux inputs on your receiver. But you probably won't get any 5.1 goodness and you have to tell the TV to...

Do I need a specific tool to removing mcaffe

Hello, I've purchased ASUS, Dell and Lenovo PC's which all had some McAfee tools already installed. I successfully removed them in the Add/Remove Program section of the Control Panel. Sure the application will ask you if you are sure, really sure, really really sure to uninstall. In the end...
