I used the system recovery on the laptop and when it got to 94% it failed. The screen flashed a few times and said to it was installing and then it went off and when it came back on it had the message operating system not found on a black screen. Can anyone help please

Hello, I started to do a system recovery to take the laptop back to its factory settings and after 94% completion it told me it couldnt do it - the screen flashed a few times after to say it swas installing again and then stopped and now when I switch on it says no operating system found...
