If you don't see your framerate monitor in the corner, I don't believe it will work. You can always use the regular printscreen or alt-printscreen to do screen grabs outside of games. Also, try Techsmith's Snag-It.

TrueCrypt seems to be the way to go. Used it a few times recently and, as far as freeware goes, it gives you a lot of functionality. Encrypting the local drive and any other internal drives should be no problem, but encrypting and accessing an external drive seems like it could/should be easier.

I use CCleaner and it seems to work well. No problems so far in the year, or so, that I've had it. Keeps the programs I want, removes orphaned keys, runs on demand, nothing in the background.
