    i would suggest taking out the battery and clean the gold contacts on both battery and phone. Another thing you can try is, hold down the power button for 10secs without battery in it.

    i would suggest to clean out the air intakes and outlets of your laptop. If the cpu temperature still rises, maybe you should be reapply thermal paste and recheck the temps.

    For the starters, clean the gold plated area of battery and phone. Retry.

    why aren't you taking help of service center or Asus? They will guide you in right direction rather than deciding yourself which may come out to be wrong product.

    did you look in Settings? In Settings go to Application Manager menu and switch to All tab. Go to Clock and click Clear Data.
