    I have a nikon coolpix l3 camera what does the red flash mean when yiu takr a picture

    I have a Nikon Coolpix L3 camera and when I take a picture the little red light flashes what does that mean? I put my batteries in and the flap does not go down all the way. Does that mean I have too big of batteries?
