    Hi i'm having problems with a dell dimension 4550. When I power on the system Windows XP starts but the home screen starts the system freezes up. I installed the dell wireless 1450 USB and the driver has an error.

    Problems rebooting the dell inspiron 1100

    I recently tried to install windows 7 on my dell inspiron 1100. My dvd rom don't work, so I used an external dvd writer. Now i'm trying to reinstall windows XP and the laptop is not reading from th external dvd drvie. What should I do?
