Kanewolf thanks for the reply.I did a full factory reset on the tv and tried it again but still the same error. I am almost convinced its a software problem with the HDMI port signal. I played 4K content from Amazon last night and got the little pop uo saying" HDR ON" the problem only occurs...

LG TV not being recognised as 4K/HDR by 4K player anymore after being connected for several months to same equipment with same settings, leads etc etc.Tried brand new 4K player and same problem persists
