GA-G1.Sniper Z97 onboard vs. discrete soundcard

Yeah the bass in any open air headphones is going to be lacking and I can confirm it's not great in the 700's.

If you don't mind open air headphones the Audio-Technica AD-ATH 700's have great positional audio paired with onboard sound and virtual surround software.

    New School Computer?

It might be worth waiting a little while until the 900 series gpu's are in more laptops. I know they are currently in some MSI laptops but not sure about other brands. They have much better efficiency so you're going to get improved battery life over the same system with an 800 series gpu.

will apple sell previous MacBook Pro model after refresh?

In Aus they don't usually sell the old models, except refurbished units. I even know people who have bought the old model the same month as the new one came out and were able to swap it for the new one, but that was back when Apple used to update their line without giving any warning.

    Suggested Gaming Periphirals

OK they are Cherry Blue or Razer Green. I'd probably go for Cherry switches just because they are a proven switch. The Razer switches only came out this year and I don't really feel like they've been on the market long enough to prove themselves reliable yet. Here is a list of the keyboards by...

    Suggested Gaming Periphirals

The BlackWiddow comes with a few different switches, Blues, Browns and Razer Green and orange. Did they make a 'Click' sound or could you just feel the clicking point at about 2mm?

    Suggested Gaming Periphirals

For a mouse i'd probably go with a Razer DeatAdder. For the keyboard, which switches do you prefer? Do you want Tenkeyless, backlighting or macro keys? I find Mechanicals loud enough without the extra click from Blue switches. Personally I like Reds which do not have a tactile actuation point...

I agree, both my parents use iPhones and struggle with my Galaxy S4 and I put both of them onto Macs after trying to teach them to use Windows PCs for years and within a week they were proficient. Apple's OS' are just easier to use than their competitors. Even I choose Apple for laptops just...
