I bought a similar LG tv in Japan and not happy about the only-Japanese interface! You're lucky you got a response from LG, they chose not to respond to my emails. To LG: I CANNOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND LG. BUY A SONY or TOSHIBA, and you'll have more choices. If you take it to the US or Canada...
