    My wife has a Sony Cybershot DSC-W320 and she has taken a load of photos of my daughter's wedding, which I want to download.

    Try connecting your camera with your computer/laptop using USB cable or remove the SD card & plug it to the card reader & copy paste all the images to your computer.
