No, it doesn't work with only the a/c connected. But during the time that the new/different battery had it working, it would be fine plugged in, and running off of battery power only. So on the motherboard, will it specify which is the fuse6000?

I have 3 a/c adapters, and I use them for my other laptop...so they definitely work :( Thank you for the suggestion though.
