    The 1st one has More graphical performnace due to GT 750M the 2nd one has more CPU horsepower. But anyways , unless your doing really heavy and CPU intensive tasks the 1st one shud be fine as it will give you far more FPS then the 2nd one which has GT 720M. So yeah , go for the 1st one.

    They are actually dual cores with 4 threads. 2 cores and 4 threads. with a budget of 500$ you'd rather take an Laptop based on an APU like AMD or otherwise put in some more and take a laptop capable of gaming or else your left with Intel integrated graphics for gaming
