I have the same problem. I have ASUS strix laptop. It seems the problem is associated with ASUS. My laptop is clean and new. I do not need any updates that might jeopardize my laptop so I hit cancel and it comes back!! I do hope ASUS will solve it for all of us soon. I also miss HP support!
