Just wanted to point out that mobile Intel Core i5's are actually dual core CPUs with 4 threads just like mobile i3's

Yeah u will have to ask the people to replace it with an SSHD. Better not to void warranty doing it manually. Those showroom people can't do it because they aren't the tech guys. They will need to get hold of a tech guy. Even if u get an SSHD or not the Ideapad is still the laptop to buy

The lenovo Ideapad seems to be the better choice. U did not mention for what use are u buying for?

No the i3 won't bottleneck the GTX 765M. I would go with the GTX 765M laptop

What software are u using? Is it custom built software? Are there any recommended system requirements for the software? Really need to know whether the process is cpu dependent or also depends on the gpu and a budget and a preferable online site

Are u sure u don't want a desktop to run a 30hr process If the process is cpu dependent which i probably think it is then Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200 is better
