How do I use a speaker to line converter? Loud hissing.

Connecting CD player without rca outputs to stereo receiver
Okay, so what's really my best option? I spent enough on the cd player when I got it to where I really don't want to get rid of it this soon. I'd prefer to use my new speakers with the cd player, without having to literally take the speaker wire out of my receiver and connect it to the cd player.- chris524518

I have a cd player I would like to connect to my receiver so I can listen to it with my new speakers and receiver setup.
