I've recently been given an old DD 5.1 amp and speaker system but I'm not sure it will produce surround sound. It doesn't have toslink or hdmi inputs - I was planning on running a toslink cable from my tv, through an adapter to l / r cable into the amplifier. I hope this makes sense and people...
