I'm telling you that I fixed the problem there, there were no damaged traces, just the pad, which was able to be cut out where damaged and still leave behind working copper pad.
Remove the battery for a minute and hold the power button for a few seconds, then test. If that doesnt work reset/ clear your bios. Your laptop might have a small button to press with a paperclip on the side OR you will have to open it up and unplug the bios battery.
Sounds like something may be wrong with your TS settings, close it and then delete the .ini file where it is installed and then restart ur laptop. Let us know how it goes
Have you checked if there's anything inside the port that may be causing a bad connection? Is the port wobbly? If this isnt the issue you may have to open up the laptop and see if a wire or solder connection is loose.

is this plugged into the front of your case? if so, you might want to check your front panel connectors from your case to the mobo. A wire could have fallen out because they are so small you probably didn't notice. Check your motherboard manual for which connectors go where. Good luck!! :)
