I've also contacted Sony by email, they responded with "call this number" the tech i called said that they're software only, said he was transferring me to hardware, sent me to encore sales and information, that dude sent me to "hardware" but he really just sent me back to the software tech...

trying to upgrade a sony vaio from a pentium b940 to something that isnt a potato. ive tried an i7 3630qm, didnt post. i think itd have to be a 2nd gen like the pentium but i dont want to invest money into a cpu thats not compatible.
