Thank you, Both of your answers led me to the same screen, but I think that is just for the little speaker icon that is in my taskbar already. The thing I am missing was a blue circle about an inch in diameter that would only appear when I was pressing the buttons??

I have an msi A6200 laptop. There used to be a blue circle that would appear on the bottom right corner of my screen (I have always had my taskbar run top to bottom on the left side) This circle would appear anytime I adjusted my volume or brightness using the Fn button along with the arrow keys...
