Do I understand correctly, if I get a usb adapter to audio plugs, it still will not work with the receiver. Or, a 2-1 transmitter?

I have the Onkyo TX SR343blue tooth receiver and Harmon Kardon wireless bluetooth speakers. Do I need an adapter to run the receiver through the speaker. Or, do I need to connect speakers with audio cable. The speakers have USB connection, any suggestions on adapters if need be, from Usb TO...
