    ASUS Laptop IPS monitor Can't be Identified - Is it dead?

    I have exact the same issue with an ASUS S500C. I tried to move the cables that go from the monitor to the motherboard but nothing helped. What do I need to solder on the motherboard? I'm now using my laptop with a external screen. Thanks
