Today I was working with the machine and I can see a very dark image in the LCD. During the day I will validate the cables bewteen the inverter and the LCD bulb and see what happen. I will let you know my results. (Thanks for your help)

First at all thanks for your help. If I connect the laptop to a regular display it does display properly. The plastic cover I refer is the laptop lid (253912-001). I was thinking about the cables connect to the inverter and I think at one moment I inverted the connector and power on the machine...

I have a Compaq Presario 2700, and this was working fine unfortunatelly I decided change the cover behind the LCD and now I do not have video. I was very carefully handling the cables and this operation was apparently without complexity but wasn't. Now I do not have any idea what could be wrong.
