    Broke headphone jack off inside Sony Bravia tv

    Forgot headphone was attached to tv and tripped over cord, breaking jack off in tv. Now internal speakers wont work. If I open up tv, can I just cut wires coming from headphone port to get my internal speakers to work? Model KDL40-S3000 thanks, Tony
