Alright, well if anyone cares, I just ordered the Y580 from B&H. I actually got it with a 1TB drive for $1060. So I'm pretty excited!

Does anyone know if there's somewhere I can get the Y580 for $1000 with no sales tax?

I can get the Sager with an i7 for $1100. I don't know if that changes anything, but I can. Also, would I be able to overclock the 660M in the Lenovo?

Hello, I'm looking to buy a new gaming laptop soon, and I've narrowed it down to these two: the Lenovo Y580 and the Sager NP9130. Lenovo has i7, 660M, 500GB HDD, 8GB RAM, 1920x1080 screen for $1000. Sager has i7, 670M, 750GB HDD, 8GB RAM, slightly better 1920x1080 screen, better wireless card...

I'm gonna be playing the latest games at the highest settings possible. I already have a desktop, so I'm not looking for unmatched power, but I want the best performance (and general quality) I can get for around $1000, in a 15", full HD package.

Oh man, that 6370 looks perfect except the 17" screen! I need that in a 15", 17 is too big for me. What I'd really like is a sager 15" w/ 660M. Does that exist? And BTW, my budget's around $1000, but relatively flexible.

I've posted like a million things on here in the past week in my hunt for the perfect gaming laptop, so sorry. But my question is, is the 670M worth $23 more ($1085 vs. $1062) than the 660M in a laptop with a 1080p screen, i7, and 8GB RAM? Would it be worth it even at the same price? Because...

I'm looking right now and the i7 only turbos 200 MHz higher than the i5 anyway (3.3 vs. 3.1 GHz). So not a huge difference.
