That appears to be the purpose. I didn't even consider it. When it says "prevents locked apps from being closed" I thought that's what it meant. How odd. Oh well.

The “Lock App” function does not stop apps from being closed. I accidentally swipe apps up and close them all the time. I thought this feature would stop that. What’s the point of the button? OS: Android 13

I am using an extension in Chrome that blocks certain websites. It works fine and the settings are password protected, but no password is required to uninstall the extension. This obviates its function because it can be removed, unblocking the sites with two clicks. I have not been able to find...
