    Thanks for the reply. I posed this question as someone who has recently lost the sight in one eye and wondered if this was a feasible / possible solution to achieving some level of depth perception and normalish vision. This has no doubt already been thought of by others.

    Is it possible to mix two images from separate video cameras to produce a single image such as the human brain does using two eyes. This would need to be in real time too.
