What if I can't remember my password

Laptop uses CPU instead of GPU regardless of settings

you will still be best to check Samsung's website for the proper laptop GPU drivers as specified above, and not those provided by Nvidia.

    Gutting a laptop

Yeah, you might want to check to see if someone took the HDD out, if its still there see if you can plug it into a desktop to see if the HDD recognizable there. If you can't find the USB or boot to that you will have to check the BIOS to ensure you can boot from it, and press F5/F8 during boot...

As long as this is the correct laptop https://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/documents/migr-75358, it's true that you will be able to access more than 3Gb of memory with 64bit windows. However, unless you decide on adding new/used ram to replace what you have (keep with the same spec of memory, 8Gb...

2 minute Power-On to Desktop - with new SSD Win10

When I encountered a similar problem installing a SSD to a desktop where there was a bad BIOS/SATA. I encountered extremely long recognition and installation times. Two items that helped me out were to select RAID instead of IDE/AHCI, and my final solution was to move from SATA 6GB to SATA 3GB...

    Desktop keeps crashing with bsod

Drivers are most likely the cause either GPU or maybe even the motherboard/USB drivers. I would certainly recommend checking those out. Other causes could include be a problem with the connection between the Desktop USB and the Tablet. Using different ports could solve this.

    Touchpad cant be enabled

This sounds like drivers are being mishandled, you may have to look for new ones from the Toshiba website. If that doesn't work, look for similar drivers from the touchpad manufacturers website. (though some instances this may be worse than using the drivers provided through Toshiba) third and...

    Upgradability of Laptop

Its best to source the same identical DDR3 memory (make and model/speed/timings). Used memory can work just as well as new. Cloning is what some people typically do to move an OS from one HDD to another. http://www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-2028061/free-drive-cloning-software.html provides some...

BIOS/UEFI help. Sata mode? and what does RADIO enabled do.

Tom is right; Raid to AHCI include more steps. Often its easier to re-install Windows with AHCI set. For the most part AHCI is the BIOS mode you want to be using. Basic RAID is meant for mirroring one drive to another, or for making one small drive larger. (simplest terms). RADIO is most...

Why can't i type in a password to connect to another wifi on my Windows 10 laptop

From what I understand you've gone through the process to connect to a specific SSID, you click connect, and where you are to add a password there is no field to input and/or a button to proceed. If you're able to go access the router you may be able to use the WPA button (might look like two...

Why would I have a slow down in Gateway NV53 after replacing hard drive with Toshiba 250gig SSD

NV53 uses an SB710 South Bridge Chipset that supports SATA 2.0 spec (3Gb). The default OS should be Windows 7. The BIOS setting uses either IDE or AHCI mode; as long as AHCI was enabled and Windows was installed with AHCI support your speeds should be much faster and boot should take a few...
