    I'm having issues with speakers ,I get no sound whatsoever all connections are right .what could it be?

    Connecting Yamaha stereo receiver, two speakers connected to front ports on receiver and sub connected . When turned on there no sound whatsoever! I hear there is a possibility that the speakers could be muted is that right if so how do I fix?
