Yes the former the tv won’t output to the soundbase via the arc port, tried an optical cable and that works but then I can’t control everything via one remote

Thanks for the reply, the soundbase works fine I’ve connected it to another tv, as does the fire stick , I’ve not inspected the Hdmi arc port but I have plugged a dvd into it and that works fine but I’ll take a closer look as you have suggested , thanks

Hi, I have a Samsung TV, linked up via ARC to a Panasonic sound base everything was working fine until I unplugged the sound base and plugged a Firestick into the same HDMI ARC port. On finishing with the Firestick plugged the sound base back in again and I simply cannot get sound out of it...
