I used the headset for over 2 1/2 years and I never experienced any of the issues that most people get such as disconnections, static, horrible 7.1 sound. Mine was just plug the receiver in the USB and charge it when it died. I did never use the USB extender with the hub though.

Logitech G930s run off a 2.4Ghz signal you may try changing the channel of your router to another channel to see if it stops disconnecting or change the headsets channel in regedit. Some people have reported that taking off the plastic cover over the wireless dongle that transmit the headsets...
