    Dgibson 132, thank you for helping me! My Sony is not a tv or hooked to one. It is a surround sound receiver. I'm only using 2 channels.

    How can I play audio though my speakers and headphones at the same time

    I have a Sony SRT K 7000 receiver and am using it to practice drums. I need to be able to hear through the headphones as well as the speakers. Is there a way to bypass the speaker shut off when you plug in the headphones?
