Just the composite cable isn't sending sound so you'll have to use separate sound cables.

If it is a burn it's not fixable if you doesn't want to replace the whole screen but then it's better to just buy a new one. It could be the one of the chips in the TV or the device your using and if it is any of that you could replace them with good enough soldering skills

It's probably a capacitor, resistor or a chip that stopped working, it's probably that you shorted something with a screwdriver during the replacement but it could just be that it occured at the same time.
