    Laptop Screen is very dim & vga output is working

    did you find an answer to this? I have the exact same issue, a Lifebook AH530, screen was dim with no backlight, replaced the screen with a new one and i have the same issue still, wondering what next to check, this is an LCD screen so it does not have an inverter.... Any ideas?
