    I looked at the MSI website but could not find any reference as to the thickness of the drive. I did just end up ordering a 7mm drive with the hope that if the original drive is a 9.5mm, my replacement drive will have some type of adapter included for use on the 9.5mm cage/mount.

    Does anyone know if the MSI GL62M 7RDX-1408 uses a 7mm or a 9.5mm hard drive? My 1TB hard drive died and I need to purchase a replacement. Trying to order one before I open the case to remove it. Thanks.
