I finally bought the laptop 1gb nvidia and 8gb ssd version. But the problem is how do I know if I have the ssd. The ssd since it is only used for caching purpose so it doesn't show up any where. Or am I wrong?

One last thing before I buy this laptop. How long can I expect this to last, in terms of performance on daily use basis with a little bit videos and 1-3 hrs of gaming and internet surfing and other stuff? Also in terms of being able to run latest games.

DDR 3, GDDR5 are flash memory types and gddr5 is the latest tech in memory like rams and graphic cards etc. And I have recommended two models earlier I would suggest anyone of them. HP Envy Touchsmart 15-j120TX comes ddr3 GPU and core i5 4th gen I wouldn't recommend it against y510p , or envy...

AMD Radeon HD 8570m and nvidia 720m are rated equally so you wouldn't see much difference. Go ahead with it. And how about you consider this model Lenovo Essential G510 (59-382843) you get an i5 4th gen which is better than i3 4th gen. And update your ram sometime later. I suppose you could get...

As some people suggested HP products use cheap components for their laptops. Although it can run all the games, but chances of problems in their product is high.

I go with Construkt I have no faith in their products. I have heard no recommendations for it either.

Yes it will work smoothly for at least 3-4 years. I can play assassins creed - 3 at mid- low settings, nfs most wanted 2, cod mw 3, dishonored on intel hd 4000.

755m sli will work for a few years definitely, although seeing the transition through gaming tech, it won't play games at high-extreme settings after 3-4 years. The new resolution of 4k is being adapted in the 800m series of nvidia graphic card.
