Is it just wifi? Does it occur on wired devices that are plugged into the router directly? Do you have an old router? If you are in a congested area and have an older router you might need to purchase a new one that can support the additional channels. The Google Wifi router is a great choice.

I find it odd that you don't have a reset button after selecting the "Show Advanced Settings..." option at the bottom of the settings screen. This could be due to a really old Chrome version that isn't being updated. Please verify that you are using version 29 or newer. Here is a link to help...
