    I plugged up my brand new Dell model 5555 laptop and the light on the AC adapter went out when I plugged it in and the laptop

    I recently purchased a Dell model 5555 laptop for my granddaughter and when I went to check it out before tomorrow the laptop would not power up. I noticed the AC adapter had a steady green light until I plugged it into the laptop and the green light went out.
