the display is completed disassembled. I have reconnected to cable to screen and it is still black. I did connect to external monitor and it works fine. How do I know if it is the screen or cables Got a new LED screen and still black. took the rest of machine apart. cannot see any visible...

pavilion 17 notebook, yes to lights, yes to fan. If I shine a flashlight I can see images and can sign on etc. but it's too dark to see anything. I can't connect an external monitor.

I have the screen off but I can't find the Led light. I know it's a LED by the manual
