Looks like I need better surround system :-(

But if you test it in properties, and test dolby, it does all 5.1 speakers. So I know its possible, just can't figure out how make it work with everyting like that.

But games do. And I would love to figure out how to make it work with them.

I have my laptop hooked up the my TV as a monitor through HDMI, the audio runs from the laptop to the surround sound sound system via an optical cable. I can only get the option for 2 channels for the audio. Though if I use the Logitech G930 headphones the 7.1 sound works fine. In the properties...
