I did follow your instructions in post #4. I tried KingoRoot desktop version first. Twice, it went go all the way to 100% and then failed. I disabled a couple of Lookout's security features. Then it won't even connect with it stuck on the "Connecting.... please enable debugging USB mode" even...

I just tried (T-mobile customer if it matters) with the same issues as others. Failing at 10% with app and not even connecting anymore with desktop version. Completely disabled Lookout which tried to get in the way. Shot off an email to KingoRoot. But there are these instructions on their site...
