Health went down from 100% to 88% -> 45% -> 25% -> 17% while HDSentinel was open. Pretty much stopped degrading when I closed HDSentinel.

Exactly. But there's a part which connects it all to the Motherboard; its damaged at the joint/part of it that's bent and doesn't make the proper connection; right above the blue part which enters the connector.

Sorry for misleading you by using wrong word 'connector', I really meant the CABLES; one connecting switch board to Motherboard and the other connecting touchpad to Motherboard. I see, they're sometimes called Ribbon cables.

'bout te motherboard, elbert where do I check those numbers (physically) on my motherboard to reassure they're a match? I can only see one image and it looks a little bit different

Okay. But does a motherboard come with switch board and touchpad? I'm more optimistic about switch board, but touchpad and its connector (defunct) are on the casing, above motherboard. I have to prepare for an all-out attack; eliminate all at once.

Switch board 'connector' damaged and touch pad (cursor, perhaps) too. I think I can manage before the final blow.
