Will an Acoustic Audio PSW-6 powered subwoofer work with my Sony STR-DH550 amp? The amp has two black RCA type outputs for the sub and the sub has L/R red & white RCA inputs as well as high level L/R +/- spring type connectors... thx

OK...I have an older subwoffer (push in/spring loaded connection) and newer amp (two black RCA type connectors)...and I give up!! Any ideas? thx

Thx Mr Audiophile! On another forum it was suggested I get a HDMI to composite converter...use the L/R RCA jacks for the audio to the amp, and then a RCA to HDMI converter for the video to the TV...will that work?

How do I get audio to RCA inputs on older amp with only HDMI output on DVD and video to TV?
