    Lets just say they will be better then cheap headphones but in their price range there are better options.

    Go with either the sennheiser HD 449 or m40x. The m40x will sound better, and like the m50x they will be very comfortable. But the HD 449 seems to have larger ear cups so it might fit you better.

    If you think the m50x is to expensive go for the m40x. All headsets with the "Gaming" label are not really high quality.

    You need to set your preferred sound device to the usb headset. Right click on the speaker icon, click on playback devices, right click on the headset, click use as sound device

    If you could spend another 20 euros go with the ATH-M50X on massdrop, It is one of the best options under €300 and it is 50% off now. I have a corsair h1400 myself and compared to my m50x it sucks.
